How do they take blood from a toddler...? - how do you take blood from a 12 month old

My daughter goes through standard blood tests (12 months), more tests that are allergic to peanuts.

My heart sank that carry blood from the finger? Or under the arm as an adult?

Do not be afraid or worried. There are many times in the blood was from my little 5 years old. I know that in his first disgraceful. When I was in the neonatal intensive care unit developed from your scalp. But for older children to him from a vein. You will cry, but it is specified in seconds. Go to the mirror, when we do - Everytime:)

Well, I had a 5-year-old daughter, and what they do is the mother takes the baby and the doctor takes the baby's arm and draw blood in the same way as an adult, if you think you understand your baby, said I do, that this is something that has to and it hurts a little, but it must be a good girl and help the doctor!

They took blood from the arms of my daughter as an adult, but in reality received his narrow upright. and make sure that plenty of fluids before the test, it would be easier to stop the blood. Otherwise, if you have problems in the arm, they have their fingers ... I hope to help you!

My daughter is 8 months and was taking blood twice. At first, he can take a look at the heels, and then press and press until it enough .... please a pain! The last time, but still held its reality, and so the poor man. They are usually fast enough with a baby. It was not too terrible. Good luck, do you good!

It is through the arm. Ask a nurse who has extensive experience with children and bring a favorite stuffed animal for comfort. You can use a little sick, but she'll be fine. Press against them and perhaps lead to a treatment that then:)

Take a vein in your arm as an adult. My daughter had to have blood when 2 or 3, and yes, it was very scary! Try not to let your daughter know that you are worried or anxious, and all is well. Good luck!
